About Us

The academy is there to equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in a highly competitive and cut-throat industry. They will also provide students with supportive access to formal programs as approved by the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) by means of Short Learning Programs (registered at the NMMU), provide students with CATHSSETA approved qualification and give full-time students the opportunity to attain an international qualification from City & Guilds.

For those people who are already active in the hospitality or hotel industries, the academy aims to provide further training opportunities for through workshops and other in-service training programs. They also aim to provide short courses to the public, equipping students with improved culinary skills for the enjoyment of cooking and entertaining.

The Garden Route is in for an appetizing treat and students can start polishing their utensils and get ready for the uplifting, fun and enriching educational experience of a lifetime. I hope the industry is ready for an influx of talented chefs, dynamic managers and inspirational leaders ready to take the hotel and hospitality industries by storm.
